if you note the db.etree page (one of them) for this date under Garcia, the tracks include two Instrumental Jams from WBCN Studios w/Weir & Gregg Allman, however, none of the listed shnids actually have these two jams; does anyone have any info on where these are found ... a bootleg perhaps?

You'll notice that the actual 11/21/70 FM tape does have a couple short instrumentals. Those are likely the excerpts listed on that page.
Considering that whoever did that compilation did not even correctly title The Race Is On or Dark Hollow on the "Garage Tape," I wouldn't put too much trust in the labels.

I actually sent that disk to you a few years ago Arthur. It was from an Eastern European produced bootleg that I had purchased at "The Golden Disc" on Bleeker Street back in 1993.

To my ears that music sounds very Allmanesque and I'm not sure I can even hear Garcia. I've always wondered what it was...

Cliff, i thought you might respond to my query. Yes, you did send me the Boston Blues disk a few years back, fantastic jams. Like you, i do not hear Garcia on these jams. They're not even Garcia-like, more Allmanesque as you say. But, are they part of the WBCN session, i.e., the session at the link i posted? I'm not sure.

No. They are from a separate session with about 5-6 tunes sung by Bobby. The personnel included Cippolina as well as Allman, Bob and Garcia.

Thanks for the add'l info. So, it's Cippolina on guitar then?

Hmm. Looks like I'm mistaken. Must be some blatant mislabeling...

Exactly, because those two jams do not exist on those shnids, the 1st jam is 13 minutes, the 2nd 28 minutes; i do not think Garcia is part of these jams; listen yourself...

Thanks. Those are from the Derek & the Dominoes/Allmans jams at Criteria Studio in Miami, 8/27/70.
Needless to say, no Dead content!
